Under The Mistletoe review

Justin Bieber has all the chances to become a super-star

Justin Bieber, a seventeen years old performer from Canada has already become extremely popular both in his motherland and the US, and also on the other side of the ocean. Actually he is already a star; however the young performer has got all the chances to become a super-star and to prove to everyone that he is not just talented, but also very hard-working. Of course, it cannot be stated with one hundred per cent confidence, but nowadays Justin’s fan base consist mostly of teenage girls, who really enjoyed and fell in love with Bieber’s compositions. Well, that is not such an incredible surprise, as soon as the singer is a teenaged by himself. Successful and really popular, but still a teenager. It would be strange if his songs were called-for among old ladies only, wouldn’t it? However Justin’s audience managed to play a dirty trick on him: many people do not take his creativity seriously. And that is definitely a mistake! Bieber can proudly present his outstanding vocals and confident and professional performance on stage. The singer’s choreography has always been great, which means that his shows are always fascinating and there is just no room for boredom: everything is done in the best traditions of pop-music. All in all the concerts of Bieber are bright and well-organized shows that bring thousands of people together to enjoy the music. Yes, nowadays Justin’s fan base is more or less homogeneous, but the artist is just starting his creative path.

Under the Mistletoe: the holiday mood

The record Under the Mistletoe is the young performer’s second studio attempt and at the same time it is his very first Christmas album. Of course, it is done in iridescent colors and completely dedicated to the bright and kind Christmas holiday. Well, that optimistic album is opened by a composition Only Thing I Ever Get For Christmas. The track’s sound is very soft; it is exactly the kind of sound that a romantic song should have. Feelings have always been the central and the most important part of Justin’s creativity, and it seems that the artist is not going to change it, at least now. The second act role is played by the song Mistletoe, where Justin demonstrates his vocals that can adapt to any rhythms and tempos. Many musicians love to stretch their albums with classical creations, such as Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, for example. There was enough free space on Under the Mistletoe for such songs, which are loved by many generations of listeners. We must give proper respect to Bieber: his interpretation of Silent Night turned out to be original and interesting indeed. All in all listeners will get fifteen amazing compositions with the total length of almost an hour. It seems that Justin Bieber has an adult and professional approach to studio work, it is impossible to argue about it.

Young and promising artist is to demonstrate all his potential

Justin’s debut studio album titled My World 2.0 saw the light in 2010 and it proved to be quite a loud event in the world of music. The record was critically acclaimed, while fans were just amazed. Let us not forget about the fact that Bieber is one of the youngest performers on the world stage, and that is why there is no doubt that he will be able to reach incredible heights. Judge by yourself: do many seventeen years old people release their second album of such a great level? Moreover, numerous famous professionals enjoy recording with that young gifted kid, and that says a lot about his performing skills. The long play Under the Mistletoe proved to be a mature work, with a high quality sound and quite an attraction-catching content. In fact, the musical essence of this record is good in all aspects, from arrangements to the vocal parts themselves. However, whether you enjoy it or not – it depends only on your preferences. Lovers of pop-music will definitely get a lot of positive emotions from listening to Under the Mistletoe.
