Johnny Foreigner Vs Everything review

Johnny Foreigner – estimable representatives of Foggy Albion

A big number of various indie-rock bands, created on the shatters of a mighty empire of great English rock groups, are of an outstanding popularity nowadays. Many pioneers of progressive rock, punk-rock and new wave do not perform on stage anymore, however their legacy is the reason for young musicians to make progress and go forward. The trio from Birmingham Johnny Foreigner definitely got its notable place among the great many of young and promising bands (of course, if we can say that the band, which has released its third album is a beginner group). That group was formed not a long time ago, but its original line-up was already changed. Nevertheless, the musicians did not need a lot of time to set up the band; thus by 2006 they already released their very first single, all copies of which were sold completely. All three hundred records. Two years later the rockers released their debut long play titled Waited Up 'til It Was Light. Critics and musical experts really enjoyed that record, and it became a little bit easier to move forward for Johnny Foreigner – self-confidence is a good thing, especially when it is powered with listeners’ support. Only a year later the British artists enlarged their discography with a new long play, which name was also not a good example of compactness: Grace and the Bigger Picture. And rockers’ intuition did not let them down this time as well, which was proved by critics’ acclaim. Actually, it was not a big surprise, as soon as Johnny Foreigner chose the path of high quality from the very beginning of their career. Now it is time to get acquainted with their brand new album Johnny Foreigner Vs Everything.

Energy charge in the shape of Johnny Foreigner Vs Everything

Well, what do we know about Johnny Foreigner? Or what should we know about this band? First of all, they are young and, there is no doubt about it, they are promising indeed. The second important thing about that group is that their music is a pure energy. Even if one has to classify the trio’s art as indie-rock, it would be one of its most powerful and vivacious kinds. The new album is opened by a composition If Im The Most Famous Boy You've Fucked, Then Honey, Yr In Trouble. Yes, the musicians prefer long titles not only on the studio works’ covers, but also within the track lists. The first song lets us know that there will be no room for boredom: the vivacious tempo creates the right mood. It is followed by the composition With Who, Who And What I've Got (Standard Rock), which starts with melodious chords plunking, and then it gets the speed of pop-punk that definitely has a melodiousness as well. In general the whole album flies in quite a serious speed, however there are some mid-tempo tracks, such as Jess, You Got Yr Song, So Leave, for example. Well, the rockers can play not only fast songs. The long play ends with the track Alternate Timelines Piling Up, which is calm and tuneful; thereby it is just perfect for the album’s conclusion.

Johnny Foreigner – a very loud trio

The English bands have always been well-known for their incredible ability to find their unique style. Well, there is absolutely no doubt that Johnny Foreigner follow that good tradition. They started a professional career in 2006, and by 2011 these musicians released the third album. Well, the working capacity of musicians is probably an object of envy of many. But we also should take into consideration a fact that Johnny Foreigner’s compositions’ quality remains high, just like it used to be when the band just started. Their bright and energetic tracks do not copy each other, they have some special features and traits. And special attention should be paid to the lyrics. If the musicians choose the names for long plays in such an elaborated way, that means that they have something to share with the listeners. It does not matter if you had a chance to get acquainted with Johnny Foreigner’s art or not, the record Johnny Foreigner Vs Everything will become an excellent guide to the world of live and vivacious music.
