Ten review

Album Ten. Rebirth.

Many had the unique opportunity to enjoy this great and groovy on every side quintet. Besides, girls are strongly advised to familiarize their boyfriends with this group only in audio format, as there is a risk that the text and the music will not be properly understood. Will not, because there are four professional models and one potential in the group. They basically look nice ... so stop! Group appeared not so long ago, in 2002. It came to popularity after winning the competition Popstars: The Rivals, and at the moment the girls are the most successful product of the British Star Factory that is documented by Guinness World Records book. And, so, along their career, group presented seven albums. Ten is the second album that is a hit collection of 10 year old career of Girls Aloud and besides past hits the album includes several songs recorded specifically for this project. In addition, Ten album is intended to mark the group reunion after three years of silence. The styles of music in which the girls sing here are pop, electro and dance-pop. Everything is groovy, life-affirming and without this melancholic, burdening with unnecessary thoughts thing. In terms of artists that have influenced the work of the group, one can mention the American RnB singer Ne-Yo, Oasis group and world-known Michael Jackson. A selection of styles and performers is quite good, is it not? So let's brush up the old hits and listen to a brand new ones prepared for us by Girls Aloud.

Cruise on the waves of nostalgia

Journey along the LP begins with a new song called Something New. The song was firstly introduced to the public on October 16, 2012, and on November 16 of the same year, it was eagerly adopted by the local British and world radio stations. In addition, the song was elected official single for the charitable program of BBC - Children in Need. It is a well-structured, compiled and explosive song. Well, it should be the first on the album! Unobtrusive fast rhythms, catchy tune, prompting exclamations of the group participants, as well as various styles of singing, look very tempting. After this track we are met by the old and already familiar tracks from previous albums such as The Promise, Sound of the Underground, No Good Advice, and many others. The most interesting thing is waiting for us at the end of the album, here we have hidden specialities. And the first number here is On the Metro track, the only track where the co-writer is the participant of the group and her name is Nicola Maria Roberts. The song begins with a muted, accelerating rhythm on the background of elegant female vocals, and later is being supported by electronic melody. Everything meets the style of Girls Aloud – life is movement, so let's move and spend it in the dance, and not in sorrow. Four new tracks end up the album, they are Every Now and Then, Beautiful Cause You Love Me. And here one can mention the final Beautiful Cause You Love Me, girls can't live without the slow, romantic songs and amid a general dance atmosphere this song seems to be the best closing track on the album.

Give us more of Girls Aloud!

In the summer before the release of Ten there were rumors that the girls will return to the pop music stage in order to conquer the hearts of both males and females. With men, at their most, everything is clear, it is possible, though is not necessary, to do the album without music, but the female part of the audience, again, at their most, needed multi-platinum hits. It was assumed that the return of the legendary quintet will be indicated by something more than four new songs. Of course, it is nice to have the best from every possible album on a single disc. Yes, this album will not get you bored on any party, but there is a need for new material. It can be assumed that the material was quickly collected in order to be in time for the tenth anniversary of the group, and it was enough only for four songs, and the rest of the tracks is added only to collect the required minimum of 35-80 minutes of LP release. And, of course, we are pleased by the fact that the producer in the face of Xenomania and artists in the face of Girls Aloud set to work again, and according to the rumors, we can expect another 2 album in the near future. Still there is hope for a full-scale studio album, because, really, it is enough for album compilations of The Best style. People need something new. Girls have a lot of charisma, the same thing goes with the potential, this fact can be easily understood from the four potential new hits on Ten and other equally serious hits, presented on the same album, and the previous ones. Give us more of Girls Aloud, give us even more of their groovy light energy, elegant presentation and seductive sexuality!
