Chris Brown’s career is picking up steam
Chris Brown, a twenty-three year old musician from the United States of America made himself a name a long time ago and established a reputation of a talented and professional artist. In spite of the young age, Brown managed to blend in a society of famous performers rather easily, and he had already collaborated with such stars as Benny Benassi, T-Pain, Lil Wayne and many others. Chris’ musical intuition is remarkably impressing, as soon as he has released five albums since 2005, and every single of them proved to be a hit. The very first long play created a right tone: it got the top line in a respected and serious hip-hop and rhythm and blues chart of albums in the US. That achievement let everybody know that Brown got to the world stage with serious intentions. The young man has real ambitions and what is important is that he actually brings them to life. As a result, Chris’ works prove to be strong and distinctive, which means that the musician has got his own unique style. Now it is a perfect time to get acquainted with Brown’s brand new creation called Fortune.
Fortune will become a new stage in Brown’s art
Chris Brown’s fifth studio attempt got a loud title Fortune, and in fact listeners probably do not have any reasons to question and doubt the long play’s success. Brown’s secret of success is rather simple, actually: a talented musician invites talented producers and performers to collaborate. What do you think comes from such a joint working? Hits, of course. Thus, the new long play is opened by a club blockbuster called Turn Up The Music, creating a right mood. This one is followed by a composition which will be definitely enjoyed by owners of high-class acoustic systems: Bassline is a truly self-explicatory title. The amount of bass is not just huge, it is extra huge! However even behind that amazing wall of electronic sound there was enough space for good old mid-tempo hip-hop with a powerful beat. Thus, a composition Mirage, recorded with a famous rapper Nas, will not be left without its well-deserved attention. Just like this, even within five songs Chris Brown can easily play with several genres. And it must be mentioned that the album will not lose its unity. All in all the entire long play is based on the principle “we will make people reconsider the essence of rhythm and blues”. That was the way Fortune was described in one of the interviews, and it seems that Brown and his team of professionals finally managed to achieve what they had planned. The general sound is rich, arrangements are original and songs are rememberable. Well, Fortune has got all the chances to repeat the success of Brown’s previous works, there is no doubt about it.
New hits for dance floors
It is not a secret to anyone that Chris Brown knows well about clubs and atmosphere that is an essential part of them. His music has always been on the same wave with soundtracks of night clubs, so it became quite obvious that Fortune proved to be another part in that chain. However for fairness’ sake it must be stated that Brown’s new record’s sound had been seriously worked out. Chris had a whole team of professionals, and they made a great job. They wanted to make listeners rethink the essence of contemporary rhythm and blues, and now it is possible to say that they succeeded. In fact, there is little blues, but a lot of rhythm indeed. Melodiousness tracks with quite distinctive dance directions will not leave lovers of dancing untouched. Thereby it will be rather easy for Fortune to conquer a great territory of night clubs. It feels that Chris Brown is not going to change his creativity dramatically, which is actually a good thing. That ambitious musician has got his own unique style that absorbed few genres, such as hip-hop, rhythm and blues, electronica and even the topical nowadays dub-step. The long story short – Brown prepared a new portion of hits to his listeners. No place for boredom!
