F.A.M.E. review

Talented mister Brown

Chris Brown released his debut self-titled long play when he was only sixteen. Nevertheless the rapper already knew what the album should be like and what he would have to do in order to achieve it. As a result more than two million copies of the record titled Chris Brown were sold in the USA, while Brown established a reputation of an extremely talented musician. However his following studio attempts proved that reputation and many experts even compared Chris with legendary Michael Jackson. By 2010 Brown managed to gain a huge fan base, which was not a surprise at all. He got priceless experience and with the support from such monsters of hip-hop as T-Pain, The Game, Ludacris and others, Chris fulfilled his potential for a hundred percent. Thus, the artist began working really scrupulously on his fourth studio work. He invited to collaboration DJ Frank E, Benny Benassi, DJ Diplo and other not less respected producers and musicians. There is no doubt that such a strong team of professionals became a recipe for success of Chris’ new album.

Eighteen masterpieces of F.A.M.E. (Deluxe Edition)

The long play F.A.M.E. may impress listeners with interesting and, which is truly important, diverse sound. Brown presented compositions in various genres, including R&B, hip-hop, reggae and even europop. Many songs can be hardly described: it is much better to listen to that kind of original sound. The very first track Deuces presents a story of relationship, and that story connects perfectly with slow, measured R&B tempo. A song Yeah 3x will be remembered by the fans due to uncommon beat, creating an allusion to old videogames, which are still in the fashion though. However the album includes faster compositions, and Look At Me Now took a notable place among them. Moreover, that track demonstrates Brown’s remarkable skills – the manner of performing in this song will be admired by numerous lovers of hip-hop culture. The compositions She Ain't You is interesting in its own way, as soon as Chris used samples of Michael Jackson’s Human Nature and a beat from Right Here of New York band Sisters With Voices. Tissued from various elements, ballad She Ain't You got a truly powerful sound. But one should not forget about the lyrics, because Chris paid a special attention to it. Thereby it is worth keeping ears open for both F.A.M.E. sound and to the stories told by Brown.

Result of meticulous work

Chris took much pains to make his fourth studio attempt as fascinating as his previous long plays. The artist’s talent and aspiration for perfectionism did their part: F.A.M.E. completely satisfied millions of Brown’s fans’ expectations. There is absolutely no doubt that remeberable melodies, interesting vocal parts, elaborate arrangements and lyrics will be enjoyed not only by those music lovers, who already had a chance to get acquainted with Chris’ creativity. The variety of songs proves that the rapper can create compositions that are not alike at all, but at the same time listeners recognize Brown’s signature style easily. F.A.M.E. took a notable place in Chris’ discography, and the music lovers only have to wait for the artist’s following album – what kind of surprises is he going to present next time?
