This Is Country Music review

Brad Paisley, country, pop and humor

Brad Paisley, so loved by millions of fans, is familiar with the music since his very childhood. At the age of eight Brad started learning to play a guitar and pretty soon he understood what he would like to do in the future. If someone goes directly to the objectives, the success will come, and that is tricky to argue with that. Meanwhile, Paisley is one of those who managed to make his dream come true. In 1999 the musician issued debut studio attempt titled Who Needs Pictures, which became a sort of a starting point. Brad kept on mastering his skills and found faithful fans, who enjoyed the artist’s talent and sense of humor. There is always enough place for jokes in Paisley’s music, and numerous allusions to pop-culture just add even more charm. It was not a surprise that Brad became a permanent member of various Award ceremonies, held by Academy of country music and that he got three prestigious Grammy awards. In 2011 Brad pleased listeners with his new long play This Is Country Music. Will it become new classics? Will it repeat the success of previous albums?

Working in team for This Is Country Music

Thus, the release of the record took place in spring of 2011. The long-awaited album is especially fascinating due to the fact that several amazing musicians had been working hard on this long play: Don Henley, Sheryl Crow, Blake Shelton and others took part in its creation. Definitely, these names mean a lot for country music lovers. Actually it can be stated that listeners’ expectations were completely satisfied. The main track This Is Country Music creates the right mood with the help of clear acoustic guitar, traditional country melodies and, of course, Brad’s vocals. No one can doubt that this really is country music, just as the album’s title says, that is for sure. The following track Old Alabama was recorded jointly with the band Alabama and it proved to be not less bright and positive. Probably it can be easily entitled a great example of country. This is music of sun, music of dusty roads, music of prairies, music of the US. However This Is Country Music got some place for lyrics (slow ballads Love Her Like She's Leavin' and I Do Now) and for surprises: one of the songs was created with legendary Clint Eastwood. The track was called Eastwood, after the famous actor, so it is really hard to miss that composition.
