Disco Crash
Studio Album by Bob Sinclar released in 2012Disco Crash review
Bob Sinclar really feels the music
Bob Sinclar is a French musician, DJ, owner of his own label and just an incredibly creative person. In fact, he does not need a detailed introduction, as soon as it is quite impossible not to known that man. Sinclar started playing at the age of seventeen, and back then he was especially interested in such dance genres as funk and hip-hop. Soon Bob released his very first hit: Gym Tonic, which was created alongside with Thomas Bangalter from the legendary electronic duo Daft Punk. Sinclar’s signature feature was his strong wish to achieve the more complicated and elaborated sound. Of course, listeners enjoyed the richness of the artist’s tracks, while Bob established a reputation of a talented performer, striving for innovations. Various performers were glad to work with Sinclar, and with time such collaborations turned out to be a good tradition. Another tradition for the DJ is to get the highest positions in different charts all over the world. However, these statistics cannot describe his creativity in a full way. For example, the dance floors were conquered by the composition World, Hold On in 2006. Europe, America and Asia admitted that Sinclar feels the rhythm and the very essence of dance music indeed. Well, does the new long play Disco Crash bring any innovations?
Disco Crash: disco of the twenty first century
Sinclar feels comfortable to work with invited musicians, and Disco Crash is another proof of that. Many famous artists took part in the creation of the new long play, including Snoop Dogg and Sean Paul. The album is opened by an energetic song Rock The Boat, composed and performed in the best traditions of electro-house style. It is followed by an absolutely amazing composition Fuck With You, which absorbed funky notes and charm of the disco. Obviously, that track will become a welcomed guest at dance floors. Can one successfully mix dance melodies and recitatives? The answer for that question lies within the song Wild Thing, which demonstrated quite well that talented musicians are able to prepare a fascinating cocktail with any genres. Even with ones that are initially distant from each other. Not Gangsta is a funny and fun song that can easily improve one’s mood even at the grayest and dullest day. This one is a unique combination of dance energy and a completely merry mood, far from a serious approach whatsoever. Thus, it is a total opposition to all the songs that are called-for in night clubs nowadays. However Disco Crash had enough room for romantic and a little bit light-minded Rainbow Of Love. If you are at the beach and if you enjoy the tender sun - Rainbow Of Love will easily become your personal soundtrack.
Another great album from maestro
Will it be a surprise to anyone if Disco Crash gets to the highest places in the world charts? Probably not. Will it be a surprise to anyone if Sinclar is called one of the most influential DJs of the modernity? Again – probably not. That musician had proved to listeners a long time ago that he can write great songs. Moreover, Bob’s hard working abilities are impressive – the DJ released a big number of long plays, but the quantity did not affect the quality. Disco Crash became an excellent addition to the musician’s discography, picking up the slack from not less original album Made In Jamaica. A little allusion for sunny rhythms is presented on Disco Crash: a song Tik Tok had been definitely given a charm of beach parties. In general the album’s title fits its content. Bob Sinclar presented to his fans disco, adapted for the tempo of the twenty-first century. The DJ’s signature sound feels just perfect for the entourage of the dance atmosphere of the seventies, and there is no doubt that Disco Crash will become a source of positive emotions for all the connoisseurs of high-quality electronic music.
