Once Cox came across a Russian article about kids having AIDS which made him write Quarantined, for he has spent a lot of time in hospitals when a child and thinks them strange places. Winter Vacation tells of the day Cox first met his best friend Locket, and he tried to express all the emotions he felt then in the unusual music. This very friend wrote the guitar party on Cold As Ice, devoted to a girl that Bradford liked when a teenager, and on Scraping Past he sings of the importance of having friends who continue your life with you. Instrumental compositions Ready, Set, Glow and After Class are both interesting and leave nobody indifferent, and on song Ativan (name of a drug) Cox explores his addiction to this drug and compares it to his friendship. The album closes with the title track which once again has no lyrics offering pure emotions and ending this mystic voyage around the boundless expanses of ambient music.
