Yeah Yeah Yeahs are working on the new album

Yeah Yeah Yeahs' singer Karen O claimed that the band has already started the work on its next studio effort. It was widely believed that Yeah Yeah Yeahs went on a break after releasing their third album It's Blitz in 2009 – but, according to the singer, they spent this time working on a new record.

Karen O also revealed that she has recently collaborated with Nine Inch Nails' frontman Trent Reznor – together they recorded a cover on Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin for the soundtrack of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movie.

"I plead total ignorance to Led Zeppelin. I am totally in the dark about them. That was the reason I could muster up whatever it took to actually cover that song. I didn't have any reverence for the track as I didn't really know it. When they asked I thought it was called The Pilgrim Song", revealed Karen O.
