Wilco and Pearl Jam will warn US government about climate change

Rock bands Wilco and Pearl Jam are among acts that will be featured on an upcoming climate change awareness album. Set to hit the stores this month, it also includes songs by such artists as My Morning Jacket, Death Cab For Cutie, The Decemberists and Jack Johnson.

The album will be released in support of climate change legislation in the U.S. Senate. Artists urge people to support the act by sending e-mails to senators and President Barack Obama.

The compilation will be titled The Best Of Bonnaroo, as it will contain songs performed at the famous festival during last years. 2010’s event, also devoted to the ecology protection, will feature performances by Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z and Kings Of Leon.
