Whitney Houston's funeral to be broadcasted live

Funeral of Whitney Houston is set to be broadcasted live, reports US press. Several news web sites reported that Associated Press has signed a deal that allows company to show private ceremony.

Broadcasting will be available both online and through satellite.

The event itself is set to take place this Saturday, February 18. It will feature performances by several famous artists, whose names are yet unknown.

Sales of the music by Whitney Houston have increased significantly after singer's death last week. For instance, five of her tracks have entered the Top-50 of UK's singles sales chart – they are I Will Always Love You, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, One Moment In Time, My Love Is Your Love and I Have Nothing.

Whitney Houston has been found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton on February 11. According to the official statement, she has taken a huge dose of drugs with an alcohol.
