Vampire Weekend keyboard player will release solo album

Indie band Discovery, a side-project by Vampire Weekend keyboard player Rostam Batmanglij, announced the release of its debut album. New record, titled in the name of the band, will hit the stores in July.

Apart from Rostam Batmanglij, Discovery also features Ra Ra Riot singer Wes Miles.

It was also announced that Vampire Weekend singer Ezra Koenig will provide vocals for one of the album’s tracks, titled Carby.

Vampire Weekend will release new album this year, although its title is still unknown.
