US rapper may buy British football team

Famous US rapper P.Diddy is going to buy British football club Crystal Palace, says The Sun newspaper. The team was put up on sale after it went bankrupt in February this year. Unnamed source close to P.Diddy told The Sun that rapper already traveled to UK to discuss the deal.

Crystal Palace manager Brendan Guilfoyle said that he did not know anything about P.Diddy’s approach, but he would welcome it. «I would willingly fly to New York to meet him to discuss a purchase. I am a big hip-hop fan and I would be delighted if P.Diddy wanted to buy Crystal Palace», said he.

Founded in 1905, Crystal Palace is one of the British oldest football clubs. The team currently plays in The Championship league, English second football division.

P.Diddy himself has recently revealed the release date for his new album. Titled Last Train To Paris, the record is set to hit the stores on June 22. P.Diddy claimed that he wanted Jay-Z to join him on the album, which already features collaborations with Drake and Lil' Wayne.

P.Diddy’s previous studio album Press Play hit the stores in 2006.
