US president Barack Obama hailed Michael Jackson

USA president Barack Obama has contributed to the death of Michael Jackson. According to a White House spokesman, Obama felt Jackson was a «music icon» and «spectacular performer». At the same time, President considered Michael Jackson’s life to be «sad and tragic».

Earlier, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown claimed that he «felt sad» because of Michael Jackson’s death, while opposition leader David Cameron described late singer as a «legendary entertainer».
