Unique movie about Michael Jackson fails to sell

Nov 11, 2011
Previously unseen documentary about Michael Jackson failed to sell at UK auction. The movie was shot in 1993 in Argentina and tells about King of Pop's world tour in support of Dangerous album. It was expected to fetch about $5 million, but nobody expressed desire to buy it.

The preview of the movie has been deleted from the Web due to copyright claim by Michael Jackson's estate. The fact that the owner of the film may have problems with its commercial use is the supposed reason of the failure at the auction.

Several Michael Jackson clothes were recently put up on Rock & Roll Pop Culture Auction. It also features different costumes belonging to Madonna and Elvis Presley, as well as a dress worn by Rihanna in The Only Girl In The World music video.

Among other lots are guitar strap used by Jimi Hendrix or handwritten lyrics and poetry by The Beatles' Paul McCartney and John Lennon.
