NEWS28.12.2009 U2 will release an album of remixes U2 announced the release of the new album titled Artificial Horizon. It will be a compilation of remixes on the band’s songs by other artists. The disc is set to hit the stores in January, while members of the U2 official fan club will have a chance to order it earlier.
Among other tracks, Artificial Horizon will feature a remix on Vertigo by Nine Inch Nails’ frontman Trent Reznor, Jacknife Lee’s rework of Fast Cars, David Holmes’ mix on Beautiful Day and more. The album’s title affiliates with the name of the last record by U2 – titled No Line On The Horizon, it hit the stores in February 2009. The band’s next studio effort Songs Of Ascent is set to be released in 2010.
