U2 named the highest-earning musicians once again
Jun 06, 2011Last year Irish band has also topped the list. According to Forbes, their dominance is based on the ongoing 360 Degree World Tour that grossed $700 million during last two years.
Bon Jovi – who are also on tour in support of their last album The Circle – have got the second place with $125 million. Sir Elton John became third with $100 million.

5. Michael Buble – $70 million
6. Paul McCartney – $67 million
7. The Black Eyed Peas – $61 million

9. Justin Bieber – $53 million
10. Dave Matthews Band – $51 million
U2 bassist Adam Clayton revealed that the work on the band's new album did not go as planned, so they have to postpone its release. Originally scheduled to come out early next year, it would not hit the stores until the fall 2012.
U2 released their last studio effort No Line On The Horizon in 2009.
