U2 are willing to save legendary studio
Feb 02, 2009U2 announced that they were going to buy Olympic Studios set to be closed by its current owners EMI. This legendary studio in London has been used in the past by The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and a lot of other musicians.
Led Zeppelin recorded their first album there. U2 themselves worked on their new record No Line On The Horizon in Olympic Studios. «Bono and the rest of the band really enjoyed their time in Olympic Studios. They already have their own studios in Dublin but feel that Olympic could be a very wise investment», says the official statement.
