U2's frontman Bono revealed that the band was working on three albums at a time. The fist one is their next studio effort Songs Of Ascent. According to Bono, it is being recorded in collaboration with famous American musician and producer Danger Mouse.

"We have about 12 songs with him. At the moment that looks like the album we will put out next, because it's just happening so easily", claimed singer.

According to the band's manager Paul McGuinness, Bono and others want the record to arrive before their North American tour, which is scheduled to begin in May.

The second effort is a concept album based on the upcoming musical, named Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. It is set to debut on December 21, with all songs written by U2's Bono and The Edge.

The third one is a dance music album, which is set to feature collaborations with RedOne, Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am and David Guetta. "U2's remixes in the 1990s were a real treasure. So we wanted to make a club sounding record. We have a pile of songs", claimed Bono.
