Trent Reznor's music nominated for Golden Globe

Soundtrack for upcoming The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movie – written by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor – was nominated for Golden Globe award in Best Original Score category. It will compete with the music for such films as Martin Scorsese's Hugo and Steven Spielberg's War Horse.

Trent Reznor have won this award in 2011 with the soundtrack for The Social Network movie (later Nine Inch Nails frontman has got Oscar in the same category).

2012's Golden Globe awards ceremony will take place on January 15.

Yesterday Trent Reznor claimed that Nine Inch Nails will return to work on its next studio effort in early 2012. According to his words, the record is set to hit the stores next year.

Talking about situation with the band, Trent Reznor said: "Nine Inch Nails is not dead by any means, but all the touring and record writing has been thrown off for a little bit. I highly expect that to be the focus of 2012 in terms of writing and we may see a full-length release even".
