T.I. revealed details about new album

US rapper T.I. revealed details about his new album. Titled King Uncaged, the record is set to hit the stores on August 24. According to T.I., it will share the spirit of Tupac’s famous album All Eyez On Me, released in 1996.

Like Tupac, T.I. has recorded King Uncaged soon after serving a prison term. «This is the most significant return from incarceration that the game has had since then. Just given the enormous success of that project, everyone’s expecting the same results», said T.I.

According to the rapper, who was put in jail one and a half years ago for weapons charges, the record would feature collaborations with famous hip-hop artists, such as Jay-Z and The-Dream.

The album’s release will coincide with the premiere of the Takers movie, crime thriller film in which T.I. plays one of the main roles.

Previous studio album by T.I., named Paper Trail, hit the stores in 2008.
