Thom Yorke’s and The White Stripes’ recording sessions will get TV broadcast

A new show From The Basement starts on December 1 on the Sky Arts channel. It will feature recording sessions by a variety of artists, such as Thom Yorke, The White Stripes, Beck, PJ Harvey, Sonic Youth and others.

First episodes are now available online. Thom Yorke, who already recorded a session for the show, said that «it is exciting, because it came from the desire to cut out the crap that lies between the music and the viewer».
