Thom Yorke confirmed solo single release
Sep 09, 2009Radiohead's Thom Yorke confirmed reports that he was going to release new solo single this month. According to Yorke, it will feature two songs. The first one, titled The Hollow Earth, is based on an unreleased track recorded for his 2006’s solo album The Eraser. The second one, named FeelingPulledApartbyHorses, was co-written with Radiohead's guitarist Jonny Greenwood. It is also a rework of one of the unreleased songs.
Thom Yorke also claimed that he was going to release all his further solo records under the new name. He is currently trying to choose one of the names from the list that includes Thombola, Thomosexual, The Duke Of Yorke and T.Homme.
Few days ago it was announced that Thom Yorke was set to finish the work on another single. It will feature a cover on All For The Best, the track by American rock-musician Mark Mulcahy. The record will hit the stores on September 7.
Radiohead’s last album In Rainbows was released in October 2007. This month, the band released two new singles – Harry Patch (In Memory Of) and These Are My Twisted Words.
