Thom York did not pay for Radiohead’s album
Nov 11, 2007Radiohead members have revealed how they came to the idea to publish their album In Rainbows on their web site, allowing fans to decide themselves how much they pay for it. According to the musician’s words, this descision was made by the producers.
Thom York said that the idea to release the album as a download came from the band's management who didn't want to release an album while out of contract.
Thom also admitted he paid nothing for the band's album, and Radiohead’s guitarist Ed O'Brien added: «We had to tell no one. I didn't tell my wife we were going to release it like this».
