The Who may be banned from performing at Super Bowl

US child abuse prevention organizations are against The Who’s performance during the half-time of NFL Super Bowl. Considered to be among one of main events during the year in USA, Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League and the most-watched American television broadcast.

The band is set to perform at the nearest Super Bowl on February 7. However, several child protection groups want to ban The Who from the event because its guitarist Pete Townshend was found guilty in accessing child pornography in 2003.

At the same time, organizer’s spokesman claimed that The Who will perform at the event despite all speculations.

Many popular artists played at Super Bowl, including Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, The Rolling Stones and others.
