The White Stripes announced new material

Jan 01, 2012
The White Stripes announced plans to release two new songs next month. These tracks are the early versions of their famous hits – Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground and Let's Build A Home. Both were recorded in 2002, but never released.

Both songs will come out on 7' vinyl titled Outtakes. They will be release by Third Man Records label that belongs to The White Stripes' frontman Jack White.

The exact release date is unknown, but it was already announced that the tracks will come out to mark The White Stripes' split-up anniversary – the band announced it almost a year ago, in February 2011.
