The Ting Tings' singer Katie White revealed that it turned out very hard for her to adapt to everyday life after her first tour finished in 2009. She claimed that she felt of worried of becoming "addicted" to performing.

"For about a month after touring it's so weird because your life has just been sat on a tour bus and planes for two years. Then it stops and you find real life, just kind of watching a film and eating dinner, really boring, and you have this huge panic, it's like "oh my god, am I addicted to playing shows every night? " And you kind of get really emotional", said she.

Katie White also claimed that The Ting Tings are not bothered by low marks that many critics gave to their second studio effort Sounds From Nowheresville. Recently released album was snubbed in a number of reviews, but, according to singer Katie White, they still consider it to be "successful".

The Ting Tings already released two singles from the album – Silence and Hang It Up.
