The Strokes frontman collaborated with comedy writers
Feb 02, 2009The Strokes' frontman Julian Casablancas recorded new song titled Boombox. It was written by US comedy writers Lonely Island. The track will be included in comedy team's upcoming album Incredibad.

It is not the first time when Lonely Island collaborate with famous musicians – for example, they recorded track Dick In A Box with Justin Timberlake. They also worked with US rapper T-Pain.
Last month it was announced that The Strokes' members started writing new material for the band's forthcoming album. The Strokes' last record First Impressions Of Earth was released in 2006.
