The Strokes are working on the new album

Members of British rock band The Strokes revealed that they have already started the work on their next studio effort – despite their previous album Angles hit the stores in March. According to bassist Nikolai Fraiture, they have got several songs done.

Fraiture revealed that they want to make the record as quickly as they can. "If we could do it tomorrow, that'd be great. But yeah, as soon as possible I think", claimed he.

Talking about their recent work in the studio, Nikolai Fraiture said: "Its been feeling really good. We're kind of doing the same thing as the last record – we're bringing in parts and ideas and kind of just working on those and trying to make sense of them, coming from five different people".
