The Stone Roses signed contracts with two labels

The Stone Roses – who have announced their reunion last month – signed contracts with two recording companies. Columbia will release new music by Ian Brown and his bandmates in the US, while Universal Records will distribute it in other countries.

At the same time, it was not announced how many albums and during what time The Stone Roses will record under this deal.

The Stone Roses basist Mani said he feels great about the band's reunion – as well as his companions. Musician expressed hope that their collaboration will be very "joyful".

"I am happy we are back together again. And guys are too. It's cool. It's not about the money – we're just glad to see each other. I believe it will be joyful experience. Not sure if we can record an album soon, but I am sure it will come out one day", claimed he.

Recently it was announced that The Stone Roses are set to earn more than $16 million through their three reunion concerts. The band will perform at Manchester's Heaton Park next summer, on June 29, 30 and July 1. The total audience of these shows will be about 225,000 people.
