The Stone Roses promise to record new album

The Stone Roses has officially confirmed their reunion. The band's reformation was announced at the special press conference that was held last night, on October 18.

The Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown claimed that the band has already scheduled two gigs in Manchester. According to his words, they will perform both old hits and new songs.

"This is a live resurrection that you're all invited to", said singer.

Brown also said that he would like to record new album with The Stone Roses.

"We hope to put out a new album of new music. But I can't say. It's like a language we all used to speak and we ain't spoke for a while", said Ian Brown.

The Stone Roses formed in 1983 and released only two albums – The Stone Roses (1989) and Second Coming (1994). They split-up in 1996 with no explanation given.
