The Rolling Stones may release new album
May 05, 2012The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards revealed that the band was planning to release new album this year. According to his words, they have no exact plans or dates, but his bandmates are eager to start the work.
"There's no definite plans, but I can't see any of them stopping. I wouldn't be surprised if we did some recording later this year", claimed Richards.
Recently The Rolling Stones announced that they will not go on a world tour this year to mark 50th anniversary of their first performance. The band was set to hit the road in summer, but instead pushed all the shows to 2013.
According to Keith Richards, he and his bandmates feel that they are not ready for the tour. "Basically, we're just not ready. Instead, 2013 is the new goal. I have a feeling that's more realistic", said he.
The Rolling Stones released their last studio effort A Bigger Bang in 2005.
