The Rolling Stones are "not ready" for the tour

The Rolling Stones announced that they will not go on a world tour this year to mark 50th anniversary of their first performance. The band was set to hit the road in summer, but instead pushed all the shows to 2013.

According to The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, he and his bandmates feel that they are not ready for the tour. "Basically, we're just not ready. Instead, 2013 is the new goal. I have a feeling that's more realistic", said he.

He also claimed that The Rolling Stones may record another album: "We'll just get the boys back together again then and maybe cut a side. I've got plenty in the locker here, but it's not on tape".

Earlier Keith Richards revealed that he is going to reunite with his bandmates to hold some rehearsals in studio in London. It will be the first time in four years they will work together. However, according to Richards, it is very unlikely that singer Mick Jagger will be with them.

"We're just going to play a little together, because we haven't played for three or four years. Mick's welcome if he turn up", said he.
