The Red Hot Chili Peppers want to perform together with Jimmy Page

The Red Hot Chili Peppers want Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page to join the band during their upcoming UK tour. Last year Page performed with Foo Fighters during their gig at Wembley stadium, and, according to The Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, they would be glad to perform with him too.

"Jimmy Page has come to our shows before but we haven't had a chance to play with him. That would be really cool so maybe that can happen. I saw him come on with Foo Fighters at Wembley", said Chad Smith.

He added: "Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Queen and The Who grew up listening to him".

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will tour in support of their last to date album I'm With You.
