The Red Hot Chili Peppers said that John Frusciante departure "felt good"
Nov 11, 2011The Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis has spoken about the departure of the band's guitarist John Frusciante, who has left in 2009. According to his words, it "felt good" because they were sure it will be better for both sides.
"It felt good because I knew he would be happier doing something else. We had accomplished so much with John, something we will live and die being very proud of", claimed he.
Anthony Kiedis added that former Warpaint man Josh Klinghoffer – who has come as a replacement – contributed much to the band's last album I'm With You.
"Josh walked through the door with a sense of self. Within a couple of weeks he started showing us some of his ideas and we thought these are really beautiful", said Kiedis.
