The Raconteurs revealed plans for the future
Sep 09, 2011The Raconteurs unveiled their thoughts about the future of the band. According to bassist Jack Lawrence, they will tour across North America until the end of the year. Nearest show – which will become their first performance in two years – is set to take place tomorrow, September 14, in Nashville.
Musician denied earlier reports that they will continue performing in 2012.
He also claimed he cannot say if they can record some new material in the nearest future.
"We're all doing other projects, still, so it's hard to tell what's going to happen. We never really plan anything; it just depends on what the mood is with all of us. But if it feels right, by the time we do these shows I'm sure we'll want to do more and we'll make some time for it", claimed he.
Formed by The White Stripes frontman Jack White, The Raconteurs released two albums so far – Broken Boy Soldiers in 2006 and Consolers Of The Lonely in 2008.
