The Prodigy will record a song for «independent» compilation

The Prodigy, The Editors, Cribs and other bands will record covers of independently released tracks for unique compilation of music. The double CD will only be available from July 4 until 7. It aims to raise public awareness and celebrate the importance of independently released music.

Similar albums will also be released in the USA, New Zealand, Spain, Australia and other countries.

In addition to it, a huge eBay auction will be organized, featuring VIP festival tickets, rock star music lessons and rare memorabilia from Arctic Monkeys, Gary Numan and Radiohead. Money raised from both activities will go to the independent music chosen charities.
