The Police will headline Isle Of Wight festival

Famous band The Police will headline Isle Of Wight festival in Britain. It will run from June 13-15, and the trio will play during the closing night. «We're very happy to have such popular musicians stopping by the Isle of Wight», said promoter John Giddings.

In 2007, Isle Of Wight was headlined by The Rolling Stones. Rumors told about different bands, that could become the main stars of the festival in 2008 (from The Killers to Foo Fighters), but Giddings said it was false.
