The Mars Volta nearly finished new album

The Mars Volta singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala revealed that the band has nearly finished its next album. According to his words, the record – that has not got any title yet – sounds "very good", and its release is set for this spring.

"New The Mars Volta album almost done. Vocals done. Just trying to rebutcher it and finish guitar. In studio until this week then on to Mexico to add more quantum entanglement to it. The sonogram of the little beast is looking very good", claimed he.

Cedric Bixler-Zavala added that one of the songs from new album, titled Zed And Two Naughts, will be featured in upcoming baseball videogame MLB 12 The Show.

The Mars Volta released their last album Octahedron in 2011.
