The list of bands for Guitar Hero 5 announced

Activision named artists featured in the forthcoming new edition of the Guitar Hero videogame. Named Guitar Hero 5, it is scheduled to be released this autumn and will include music by such bands as Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Rammstein and many others.

Guitar Hero 5 will also feature a number of bands never heard in the series before, such as Gorillaz, Bob Dylan, The White Stripes and Coldplay.

Activision is also working on a DJ Hero spin-off game. Featuring such artists as 50 Cent, Beastie Boys, Beyonce and Jimi Hendrix, it will hit the stores later this year.
