The Horrors described the work on the new album as a "struggle"
Jun 06, 2011The Horrors' guitarist Josh Hayward revealed details about the work on the band's new studio effort Skying. According to his words, they tried to produce the record themselves – and it has turned out to be a real "struggle". However, Hayward and his bandmates are proud they managed to overcome it.
"It's the first album we've produced ourselves, which is a big step and we've also built our own studio to do it in, which was an act of stupidity really. It's worked out great. It was a struggle, but definitely a good one", claimed he.
Release date for Skying is set for the beginning of July. Deluxe edition of the record will hit the stores at the same time, featuring some additional material.
The Horrors' previous albums, Strange House and Primary Colours, hit the stores in 2007 and 2009 respectively.
