The Black Keys "feel bad" for success of Lana Del Rey

Members of British rock band The Black Keys – who recently released new album El Camino – revealed that they "feel bad" for Lana Del Rey's quick growth of popularity. Drummer Patrick Carney claimed that such artists quickly draw public attention as media trends, but their fame disappears very fasr too.

"On some level, we've seen that Lana Del Rey thing since we first started, like, all of a sudden this new band would be headlining festivals, and we're like: "Wait, how did they get that? " We've been here for two, three, four, five years and we're still working our way up. But then they're gone. Just as quickly as they get up there, they disappear", said he.

Lana Del Rey's second studio effort Born To Die has topped British sales chart in its debut week. The record has clocked up 117,000 copies in a week that is absolutely best result of 2012 so far.

Leonard Cohen's Old Ideas is on the second place, followed by Ed Sheeran's album +.
