The Black Eyed Peas will not perform at Michael Jackson tribute show
Oct 10, 2011Announcement by concert organizers says: "It is with regret that we announce the removal of Black Eyed Peas from the Michael Forever bill, but we look forward to a great night with other earth shattering artists".
The show is set to take place on October 8 at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. The event will feature performances by Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Craig David and others.
The concert is followed by a series of hitches since it was announced. Some of Michael Jackson's fans are standing against it, describing the show as ill-timed. They even formed a group named Fans Against Forever Michael Tribute, supported by some of the singer's relatives.
Also, KISS – who were originally set to perform at the show – have later pulled out of the event due to the conflict with organizers.
