The Black Eyed Peas announced that they will take part in the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute concert. According to the band's Will.I.Am, they consider the show to be an opportunity to commemorate late King Of Pop, and it is a great honor for them.

Singer claimed: "This show is going to be an incredibly personal and moving evening for me. Remember that Michael's music, his great, great songs, have been an inspiration to my whole life and certainly formed the soundtrack to my childhood".

He also described upcoming concert as the first show ever where "the real star going to be the music itself".

The show is set to take place on October 8 at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. The event will feature performances by Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Craig David and others.

Earlier this week Will.I.Am denied rumors that The Black Eyed Peas will split up. Earlier reports claimed that they will disband after finishing current tour in support of their last album The Beginning.

According to Will.I.Am, The Black Eyed Peas are planning just a little break, the same way they did after releasing two previous albums, The E.N.D. and Monkey Business. But after this pause they will work together again.
