Take That member will get involved with the charity
Jun 06, 2009Take That frontman Gary Barlow is trying to organize special gig with all proceedings going to Children In Need charity. Coldplay and Leona Lewis have already agreed to perform at the concert which will also feature Take That themselves.
Children In Need is a British charity appeal. Since 1980 it has raised over £500 million. Gary Barlow has joined it once when he recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the cause.
A source told The Sun newspaper: «Gary has really been bitten by the fundraising bug. He was amazed by people's generosity during his Kili climb. As soon as he got off the mountain he made the decision to lend his support to more charities».
There are also plans to record the concert and release the best moments as a live album.
Take That last album The Circus was released on November 2008.
