Stone Sour are working on the new album

Stone Sour announced new album. It will be the third studio record for the band that features Slipknot's singer Corey Taylor and guitarist James Root. Yet-untitled record is set to hit the stores in August. It will be produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who previously worked with Foo Fighters, Death Angel and Marilyn Manson.

Corey Taylor described new album as «monstrous»: «I cannot wait to make this Stone Sour album. Everything already feels a million times stronger than anything we've done in the past. Plus, getting back together with Nick is going to mean monstrous things».

Stone Sour’s previous albums were released in 2002 (Stone Sour) and in 2006 (Come What(ever) May).
