Stevie Wonder feels very saddened by Whitney Houston's death

Stevie Wonder claimed that he feels very saddened every day since he heard about Whitney Houston's death. In his speech during singer's funeral he also stated that Houston will go to heaven to sing to the God.

"Every day I wake up very saddened and wasted. Off you go Whitney, off you go. Escorted by an army of angels to your heavenly father. When you sing before him, don't you worry. You'll be good enough ", claimed he.

Whitney Houston's funeral has taken place yesterday, on February 18. It featured Stevie Wonder playing Love's In Need Of Love Today, as well as performances by R Kelly and Alicia Keys.

Sales of the music by Whitney Houston have increased significantly after singer's death last week. For instance, five of her tracks have entered the Top-50 of UK's singles sales chart – they are I Will Always Love You, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, One Moment In Time, My Love Is Your Love and I Have Nothing.

Whitney Houston has been found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton on February 11. According to the official statement, she has taken a huge dose of drugs with an alcohol.
