British singer Emma Bunton claimed that she would not take part in the Spice Girls’ upcoming series of concerts. The member of five-piece girl band said that she needed to concentrate on her family affairs.

«I love making music, but you have to tour and you have to work very, very hard. Having my little boy now, I can’t imagine going off on tour for months on end», said she.

Spice Girls are set to play a series of reunion concerts this year. They are also rumored to perform at the show devoted to the start of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, which will also feature Alicia Keys, Shakira and The Black Eyed Peas.

Spice Girls band was formed in 1994 and became successful with such albums as Spice, Spiceworld and Forever. The band split-up in 2001, later performing a reunion tour in 2007-2008.
