Sophie Ellis-Bextor revealed some information about her new album. The singer claimed that she would collaborate with Xenomania – British songwriting and production team known as authors of the songs for Cher, Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys, Girls Aloud and others.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor already worked with them on her previous album Trip The Light Fantastic.

«I think Brian Higgins and Miranda Cooper from Xenomania are two of the best pop writers around, they’re great. I had a lot of fun with them. I really liked the songs we created, If You Go and others», said she.

Singer also revealed plans to go on tour this summer. «It’s been too long. I haven’t done a solo tour in ages. I’ve done lots of support tours and I have done the odd one-off solo show, but nothing flat out. It’s pretty shameful really», claimed Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Titled Straight To The Heart, singer’s new album is set to be released in August.
