Slipknot singer wants to form a band with Velvet Revolver bassist

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor claimed that he would like to form a band with Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver bassist Duff McKagan. Earlier Corey Taylor worked with Velvet Revolver in studio, and, according to his words, he liked the songs they recorded – although they never have been released.

"Me and Duff will probably do some stuff later. Me and him, we really hit it off, and we're really close, and we started writing songs together, and we've got some really good stuff. So, you never know. There might be a mystery supergroup out there - me and Duff and some other weird people - making some weird music that people are, like: "What? That's them? " So, yeah, maybe. We'll see what happens", said Corey Taylor.

Earlier Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum spoke about recording sessions with Corey Taylor. According to his words, it was his idea to invite Corey after Velvet Revolver original singer Scott Weiland left.

Matt Sorum added that they have recorded enough songs to release an album. However, the band's founder and guitarist Slash has decided to put them on the shelf.
